The Emma e-mail campaign management system includes a database for storing and managing your audience lists, professionally designed HTML email templates that generate results, and sophisticated response tracking that measures and reports those results in real time.

An overview of available features:

Storing and managing your audience lists

• Emma's secure server stores your audience member information, including names, email addresses, location and company name. Additional information (like job title or industry) can be created on a custom basis.

• Lists of any size can be imported from comma-delimited files (most databases will export as such) or MS Excel files. On import, we clean lists to weed out duplicates and errors.

• Audience subsets can be created to target your message to particular groups by interest, status or geography.

• A custom signup screen allows interested visitors to join your list directly from any email you send and from any page of your website.

• Both hard (permanent) and soft (temporary) bounces are carefully logged and interpreted, alerting you to recipients who cannot be reached and keeping your list as fresh as possible.

• Personalized Update-Your-Preferences and Opt-out links allow your recipients to update their information from any email, alleviating much of the manual administration typically involved in email list management.

• Professionally designed HTML email campaigns carry the brand consistency you want and the visually appealing elements that can inspire your audience to read and respond.

• From names and addresses can be customized for each campaign, allowing us to direct replies to the appropriate person or department.

• Campaign messages can be personalized to greet recipients by name.

• Even the largest mailings are delivered in a timely manner, and a campaign's send-off can be timed to arrive when recipients are most likely to be paying attention.

Maximizing delivery and open rates

• Campaigns are sent using sophisticated server technology that delivers emails in the way Internet Service Providers want to receive them.

• Emails are individually threaded (a mailing to 10,000 people sends 10,000 individual emails) to avoid the appearance of "bulk" mailings and ensure the highest possible delivery rate.

• Each email is personalized to be from your organization and to each individual recipient (not to "customers" or another generic alias), increasing the likelihood your emails will be read and responded to.

• HTML and text versions of the campaign are created and sent to ensure that ALL recipients receive your campaign's message and links.

• Our no-duplicates safeguards prevent your list members from receiving more than one copy of a single mailing.

• The TrueRemove™ system allows recipients who wish to "unsubscribe" from future emails to opt out from any email, protecting both sender and recipient and ensuring proper email etiquette (and legal compliance).
 

Tracking our results in real time

• For each campaign sent, we track your audience's response, giving in-depth statistics on the number of emails delivered, received and opened, and the number of clicks each link received.

• We also track the names behind the numbers, tracking WHO opened the HTML version of the email, who clicked through to the website, who bounced (didn't receive the email) and who opted out.

• Our server handles all of the back-end processing, including bounces and other communications received from ISPs and email programs.

• Our Response Archive stores all of the above information (plus a copy of the campaign itself) for each and every mailing sent.

• Tracking data for each campaign add up to create a history of your html email marketing results over time.
